How Do I Take a Quiz?

Select the quiz you would like to take from the Competition Screen (note the actual competition quizzes are only available for one day – check the home page of the HSFOL website for the quiz dates).

Confirm you are ready to take the quiz by clicking the Attempt quiz now button.

Note the instructions contained on this page:

“Use the navigation bar at the top of each page - this should help remind you where you are and prevent getting lost.

Unlike the actual competition you are able to take this quiz multiple times for practice.

Important - when entering answers DO NOT include units of measurement (ie $, degrees etc).

Each answer should only be a numerical value with NO SPACES. To enter fractions please use the following format: 1/3, 2/8 etc. Failure to follow these instruction may result in incorrect grading.”

Confirm you are ready to take the quiz by clicking the OK button on the pop-up.

Note: You only get 60 minutes and one attempt to take the actual quizzes. Please make sure you are ready to take the quiz before clicking this button. Practice quizzes can be taken multiple times.

Enter your answers in the appropriate boxes on the Quiz screen.

Note the timer to tell you how much time you have left to complete the quiz.

If you want to save your answers before you finish the quiz click the Save without submitting button.

When you have finished the quiz click the Submit all and finish button.

If you are sure you have finished the quiz click the OK button at the pop-up.

You will then be provided with feedback on your quiz. Note the feedback will differ between the practice quizzes and the actual quizzes.

Note the grade is subject to verification by the HSFOL administrator. Answers will be provided the following day by logging into the HSFOL Quiz Centre.

Visit the League Tables on the HSFOL website (www.havesumfunonline.com) the following week to see how well your teams did.
